The conference “Transmedial turn?” is part of a series of conferences dedicated to studies on intersemiotic crossovers.
The first international interdisciplinary conference on “Intersemiotic Translation, Adaptation, Transposition: Saying Almost the Same Thing?” was held at the University of Cyprus, on 10-12 November, 2017.
Keynote Speakers included Andrew Chesterman ( University of Helsinki), Deborah Cartmell (De Montfort University, Leicester) and Peeter Torop (University of Tartu).
